Allison hosted a paint and sip event for a lovely family. The group included a grandmother, her daughter, and two grandchildren. As the class began, Allison noticed the daughter was deaf. Wanting everyone to feel included, she greeted her using American Sign Language (ASL).
“I was so excited to connect with her,” Allison said. “I signed a little to welcome her and ensure she felt at ease. We chatted off to the side before and after class. Throughout, I used small gestures to make her experience even better.”
