When it comes to planning field trips, we understand that teachers and administrators are always on the lookout for something different—something that breaks the mold of repetitive outings and truly adds value to students’ educational experiences. At Purple Easel, students have the opportunity to unleash their creativity in a vibrant, supportive environment. Here are just a few reasons why our studio is the ideal choice:

  • Inclusive Environment: Our studio keeps all students together in a single room, eliminating the stress of splitting into groups and ensuring everyone shares in the fun and learning.
  • Creative Freedom: While we provide professional instruction, we encourage students to add their own twist to their paintings, allowing each young artist to take home a unique masterpiece.
  • Tangible Memories: Unlike other field trips, each student leaves with their own painting—a personal souvenir and reward for their creative efforts.

How Does a Field Trip at Purple Easel Work?

We strive to make your visit as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Here’s what you need to know about planning a field trip to our studio:

  • Group Size: We require a minimum of 20 painters for field trips. Our two event rooms can accommodate up to 80 and 36 painters respectively, allowing for a maximum of 116 students at a time.
  • Flexible Scheduling: We can host your field trip starting at 8 AM on any day of the week, offering flexibility to fit your school’s schedule.
  • Chaperones Welcome: There is no extra fee for helpers, chaperones, or spectators. However, they’re welcome to join in the painting fun at the same rate of $28 per painter.
  • Snack-Friendly Environment: Feel free to bring snacks for your students to enjoy while they paint. It’s a great way to make the afternoon even more enjoyable!
